Welcome to the National 1000 Mile Challenge.  Hike, walk, or run 1000 miles from Spring to Winter (3/20/15 - 12/21/15).  Do all the miles yourself or split them up in teams of 2, 3, or 4.  Report your miles monthly and compare your results with thousands of other challengers.  Finish just in time for Christmas (what an awesome gift to yourself).  Where will you hang your personalized certificate of Achievement?

I'm here to motivate and encourage you and I will be doing the challenge along with you.  So many benefits to be had- Weight loss, lower blood pressure, improved cardio-vascular health, connection with nature, and reduced stress.  This will be a tremendous accomplishment and something you can be very proud of.  Good luck and maybe I'll see you on the trail!!  Joe
